The province of Valhalla of Providence (Spanish: Valhalla de la Providencia Greek: Ἠλύσιον της Πρόνοια [I̱lýsion ti̱s Prónoia]), know simply as Valhalla, is the most dense and most important territory of the Merchant Republic of West Rhodes and holder of its capital, the City of Valhalla. The place is know for its various harbours and boats.
History
The namae Valhalla has its origins in the nordic paradise of warriors that the land resembled. Providence comes from the Bay of Providence which name is in honour of Cape Providence, the original place where Rhodes was meant to be and where Junipero spent his first days working gathering resources. After this, Cape Providence was also made a province under the same name. The first building in the city was Otto's hovel that provided Rhodesians food and a roof while there was no solid establishment yet.
Landmarks and Surroundings
The Alphean Sea lays to the East, providing a great field for navigation and trading of many Rhodesian goods with other nations. To the South lays the Bay of Providence, naval center of the republic for both: Navy ships and mercantile ships. Other notable landmarks include the vast and deep lake Cornwall to the northwest and Zambezi bay to the northeast. Next to Otto's Hovel one can find the R.W.V. Endeavour II, predecessor of the 1.7.3 server ship R.W.V. Endeavour that brought Westwardians to their new land West Rhodes.
Economy
The main income source is mining, though Rhodesians have developed other production methods such as chicken farming and obsidian farming. A notable citizen, Kurwazinho founded the West Rhodes Trade Center with the purpose of trading the Rhodesian goods between other nations and Rhodesians themselves.
Government
It's currently managed by the Rhodesian Parliament. As soon as the parliament seat is finished, elections will be held to choose a Valhallian representative just like it will happen with the other provinces.
