+Maleth was once referred to as //Birch Island// on pre-Khanate maps. It was covered in birch trees, as the name implies, until K_Chris found himself washed ashore after a night of aimless sailing. Hoping to one day build a bustling trade port, he constructed a simple house and began changing the disgusting birch trees into oak trees.

+After receiving mod powers, one of the first things Tangaloa did was turn Maleth into a shithole. He flew overhead, snow and pumpkin in hand, and made thousands of snow golems. K_Chris was powerless to stop him and simply watched in dreadful terror as his beautiful gem of the sea was turned into a bogan's winter wonderland. It wasn't until many months later that the island was finally fixed, whereupon Tangaloa spawned millions of chickens on it.
