The Autonomous Emirate of Al-Mushmis is a subdivision of Aresea and enjoys certain political freedom due to its form of government.
History
The land, in the days of Jahiliyya named Old Sidonia, was granted to Moorglade on the dawn of October 18th, 2015 by Tomoko, Technocrat of Aresea. Moorglade then proclaimed himself Emir of the newly founded settlement, and set up a new government with the goal of developing that area economically while not antagonizing the social estabilishments of native populations taxing Jizya.

Al-Mushmis's main exports are cactus and sugarcane, its main industry, and overall source of income, is tourism.
Government
The government is a tripartite system, comprised of the Emir, an hereditary position with absolute executive power, the Vizier, an advisor in charge of legislative and diplomatic affairs who is elected by the Aresean population, and the Mufti, an Islamic scholar appointed by the Emir, with the Guidance of Allah, Praise be His Name.
