The Breshikan Empire

The Breshikan Empire is the current, and twelfth Trans-dimensional Kingdom of Breshik lineage, founded largely by Kaiser Shakomatic and Chancellor Juinn, members of the ruling Lords Council. The empire has been disasembled By shakomatic, Contrary to the Mongolian claims too ownership. The Empire has moved from this server to better pastures. All ex-Breshikan Lands are open to new ownership since we have relinquished any ownership to them. This does not pertain to Associated Commonwealths.

In November of the year of Our Lord Two thousand and Ten, the first King of Breshik, who's name is lost to history, founded “Karak Sakor”, the First City. It was a small fortress above a sprawl of catacombs and mines soon converted to an underground city that earned the early Breshikans their 'Dwarven' motif.

Rapid expansion followed, and the cost of growth exerted itself in the form of unforgivable griefing that destroyed many ancient, precious, holy relics and homes. Fleeing for their lives the early Breshikians took to the wildes and sought the Promised Land. It was during this trying time that The Divine guided these devout to Altinor, and first spoke into their ears what name their blessed people would be known as: “The Breshikans”. These settlers then did as The Great One required and held a vote to elect the first High King of the new Dwarven State to better commune with Their will.

Soon the blessings of The Divine One saw the Breshikans grow strong and powerful, eventually incurring the wrath and envy of the other peoples. Great authorities were petitioned to drive the Breshikans out of the world as it was known. So for a time the Breshikans fled once more into the unknown, only to begin the Chaotic Times of little peace and rest. However, The Divine once again guided Their people to a safe harbour, a fertile valley where the Breshikans were told to “Start Anew, As If From the Beginning”, and thus came to name the settlement as “Karak Sakor” after the First City of ancient times.

But having received the Divine's favour once more, Breshik again grew strong, and again accrued the envy of nations; and brothers. Mutestory, who's name is gravel (loud, fickle, and a betrayer of construction), formed the Lakota Tribe, claiming to split the Empire into two manageable chunks, and so that the superior Breshik armies might spar least they lose their edge in combat. However soon after the creeping Lakota betrayed their brothers to side with a mighty enemy so that the holy city of Karak Sakor was once again lost to heathen forces.

Unsure of themselves following this betrayal, the Breshikans tied themselves by union with the yet fair Westward Isles and for a time it was good. The Divine smiled upon this union and dubbed the Breshikan King by awarding them with the title of Kaiser for the first time, a strong title to remind the rulers of Breshik to “[…]Not Fall Prey to the Greed and Thoughtless Ambitions of Men, Remain Stalwart and of Faith.” before adding forebodingly in a foreign tongue unknown to the people, “Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Kaiser”. Had the Kaiser understood the meaning of these words, much catastrophe might have been adverted.

The Once Coat of the Westro-Breshikan Empire

In a torrent of undoing, the fickle king of the Westward betrayed his oath to Breshik, and encouraged a great mutiny among the greater lords that tore the Holy Nation apart and left it threadbare before the other nations.

Many obscure years passed while Breshik tended to its wounds, having been once again betrayed and wounded for trusting another nation. So when the many nations of the land formed a league to 'bring greater peace and harmony' to the world High King YugoTexas was wary, and feared for a great conspiracy to once again thwart the growing Breshik Empire. And so using the devices of state to assume headship of the league and its constituants, Yugo sought to control those that would control him and his people by their heathenistic rule. However, despite obeying the laws of the league those composing it then showed their true colours and betrayed their oaths of service once High King Yugo out-smarted them and their ambitions and the people of Breshik were ever again downtrodden by the nations and fought a war like no other before it; a war against all nations that could not be one. And yet still the Breshikan people fought bravely, and while the greater lords and High King were executed, having risked their lives on the front lines, The Great Divine and Holy One wept at their sacrifice and so threw all the world's peoples into the wind, to scatter all, and to save Their Blessed people.

With the High King dead, and the peoples scattered, it fell to the returned Great Lord Shakomatic, Revered Nobleman, High Chancellor of the Realm, and Survivor of the Scattering War, who had speant his years since training in solitude while searching for his kind, to become Kaiser as The Divine willed. And it was at this time of his return that Shakomatic was plea-fully summoned by the nations to rally his mighty people in aide against the rising scurge of a new powerful nation, the dirty Mongols.

The Modern Kingdom

The current Kingdom was first settled in the north of Mari. However after the Annexation of a settlement made by Koinu the Breshikans moved to a new land. Shortly thereafter, admiring the rising spirit of the returned Kingdom, a Frenchmen colony successfully petitioned to be incorporated by the Empire.

The Breshikan Empire is predominantly located on the continent of Anea and some adjacent islands. Breshik is set-up with a system of Autonomous Provinces and cities federated under the Breshikan Kaisership.

The following is a list of Breshikan settlements:

  • Nova Avence - The capital of the HBE, small settlemtn that is growing at a snails pace.
  • Fort Cumberland - Termporary capital used when the breshikn army first landed on Mari.
  • New Lorriane - A territory on the continent of Mari that petitioned for entry into breshik. Occupied by lots of frenchmen.
  • Kriegstein - A proper and proud dwarven city, won over to the Breshik Empire for its generosity and faith.
  • Territories of Isrealistan and Wheaton-some Npc villages.

While the Breshikan Empire aspires to return to its former, and traditional, Theocratic Parlamentary Constitutional Monarchy, the current status of the Nation requires a more basic institution. As such, until sufficient order and infrastructure can be restored the state has opted to, for the time being, exist as a humble military Junta dedicated to the restoration of normal government and providing sanctuary for its citizenry from dangerous elements the dirty stinking Mongols.

Ranks, Offices and Titles of Nobility

Over the years and various nations that the Breshikans have experienced there have been a number of titles used throughout the Breshikan Government. These titles have been used to describe Dwarven Seniority classes, Lordships, titles of Nobility, Military Ranks and Positions, Royal titles, and Offices of Government. A compilation of these titles is as follows:

Internationa Agreements

Until such a time as the returned Empire has done enough deeds to obtain The Divine's favour, the Breshik state intends to maintain its standing mercantilist economy.

Among the Breshikans, the glorious Tree Residing Pig is a Holy Icon and any place where they are found to reside is considered Holy Ground. It is also believed that the Birch, and by some factions the Spruce, Tree is near Holy, and that any such tree that is cut down must be replanted. Some superstitions hold that this must be done before the earth turns to grass to secure blessing.
