Republic of Crackistan
Single City State, with a small population and single non-elected leader
History
Crackistan was founded c. 09-06-11 by Drewd123 and Zyn1ker. It grew from a single dwelling in the snowy lowlands near Berndtown to single dwelling with walls and a treehouse in the snowy lowland near Berndtown. It was immediately obvious that Crackistan was going to have little to no influence on the politics of the Realm of Alpha, and self-appointed Governor Drewd123 was quick to establish that he desired peace with all other nations. To this end, embassies were constructed in Kurwa, Battkhortostan, the Westward Isles and Ordnungstadt, and ambassadors invited to visit Crackistan to establish their own residences. Although FordTempo and NECHTOVIKING answered these invitations, no representative of Kurwa or the Westward Isles has ever visited Crackistan. Furthermore, there has been no formal conversation between Breshik and Crackistan on any subject.
Population
Crackistan has a remarkably small population, consisting of Drewd123 and Lahamu. Neotoxin resides in a small settlement of his own construction, and this is linked via a torchlit walkway to Crackistan proper.
Lands under the jurisdiction of Crackistan
Crackistan lays claim to no land other than that on which it's settlements have been built, occupying a small area near the abandoned Anthill Valley.
Economy
Crackistan's economy is based on a strange juxtaposition of lava and snow, both of which are found in abundance in the surrounding area. The Governor's residence is built to contain a naturally occurring surface lava pool, and the typically harsh weather serves to replenish the supply of fresh powder snow weekly.
Transit
Though construction was due to begin on a link between the greater rail network of the Realm of Alpha and Crackistan's modest metro, the project was never funded and to date no route has been planned in any detail, and the metro system itself links only the Governor's home and the abandoned quarry project.
Military
Crackistan has no standing army, and it's citizens are not armed in any formal manner.
