This is an old revision of the document!

Work in progress.

1: On the nationplay map, there is no concept of apolitical players. Though individual players may play on the map and choose not to join a nation, they will not receive any protection against other factions or individuals from the moderators. Banditry, piracy, and hermitry are all permitted, they will be on their own and need to defend themselves.

2: The ability to teleport around to multiple homes discourages building transportation and realistic trading of resources. Perhaps a the ability to respawn at your bed is fine.

3: Malicious, destructive griebing should be discouraged. Moderator intervention should be at a bare minimum. Nationplay is ultimately role playing, so a distinction should be made between an in-character action and a player maliciously attempting to destroy another's buildings. Minor destruction such as breaking beds, torches, windows, doors, crops, livestock should be permitted.

4: Conquering/selling or giving up a settlement for any reason should give the other party(the one obtaining it) total building rights to the area. This includes destroying or editing any existing buildings, while not being considered griebing.
