Inspired by lack of snowy biomes in 1.8 server, Erebeetaa and Eagle1 decided that once MC went 1.0, to explore the lands and claim untouched snow biome. Once they found it, Grand Duchy of Peros was made.
History
founding/time period
Original idea came during 1.8beta and founding occured on 1.0 server, while AlphaBernd still reigned supreme. Since the founding, Peros has been plagued by halts and hiccups in its development on 1.0 map. Main snag was the remontness of location (past +6000), as well as Christmas and other IRL obligations of the Dukes. Hopefully, in this new map, the Peros will prosper unhindered.

Not much occured since the first founding. Second founding went much smoother, and all that now remains is to start constructing the city itself.
